Welcome to MyClipTool ("the Service"), operated by mycliptool.com ("we", "us"). Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website and related services. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. What we provide

MyClipTool provides browser-based video editing tools, including but not limited to trimming, merging, subtitle editing, effects, and format conversion. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

2. Accounts

Creating an account: You may be required to sign in using a supported third-party provider (for example, Google). You authorize us to access basic profile information (such as name and email) to create and maintain your account.

Account responsibility: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your account credentials secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Your content

Ownership: You retain ownership of the videos, audio, images, subtitles, and other materials you upload or create using the Service ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

License to operate the Service: By using the Service you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for example, to transcode), distribute and display your User Content to the extent necessary to provide and improve the Service.

Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you have all required rights and permissions for the content you provide and that your User Content does not infringe third-party rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or distribute illegal, abusive, defamatory or obscene content.
• Infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to obtain source code for the Service.
• Abuse automated access or otherwise use the Service in a way that harms the platform.

5. Fees and payments

Certain features of the Service may require payment. Pricing and billing information are available on our Pricing page. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Paddle) who act as the merchant of record.

6. Intellectual property

Except for your User Content, the Service and all of its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MyClipTool and its licensors.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice, including if you breach these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyClipTool and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will attempt to notify you via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service owner resides. Disputes should first be attempted to be resolved by amicable negotiation, and if unresolved, by mediation or binding arbitration where appropriate.
